# Portivo Control Center

> Portivo is an independent, self-hosted network operations platform for compatible Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise OmniSwitch environments running AOS 6 and AOS 8.

Portivo combines switch inventory, live port visibility, endpoint discovery, read-only diagnostics, an interactive SSH terminal, controlled command execution, Jobs, Fleet Audits, Runbooks, scheduled automation, notifications, granular access control and SNMPv3 UPS monitoring in one browser workspace.

## Product boundaries

- Current switch support is focused on compatible ALE OmniSwitch platforms using AOS 6 and AOS 8 profiles.
- Portivo is intended for trusted management networks and should not be exposed directly to the public Internet.
- Portivo uses SSH for switch operations and SNMPv3 for UPS monitoring.
- Portivo stores operational state in SQLite; full traffic time-series monitoring is outside the product data model.
- Portivo is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or supported by ALE International, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise or Nokia.
- Portivo-owned source is licensed under AGPL-3.0-only.
