Dashboard
Fleet summary, Jobs, quick checks and attention state.
Fleet summary
The Dashboard presents managed switches, online/offline state, degraded stacks, Power attention and active Jobs. Dashboard attention uses a bounded server payload rather than requiring the browser to continuously download the full fleet.
Recent operations
Recent Jobs expose operation, status, target count, success/failure count and creation time. Use the Jobs workspace for full history and per-target evidence.
Quick checks
Quick Checks provide safe read-only diagnostics such as System information and Interface status. Available entries are still subject to the current role and action compatibility.
Monitoring-only presentation
When the platform is in Management only mode, background health workers can be paused while on-demand Switches, Find Device, Operations, Fleet Audits, Runbooks, Jobs, Terminal and administration remain usable according to permissions.
Reading the operational summary
The Dashboard is a bounded attention surface, not a replacement for detailed evidence. Availability, infrastructure attention, active work and power state load independently so a slow fleet request does not block initial use. Counts follow the current user's Site/Group scope and are prompts to open the underlying workspace, not diagnoses.
When monitoring is paused, current-health cards explicitly show that state and must not be interpreted as live measurements.
Recommended triage
- Confirm monitoring freshness and platform mode.
- Open the affected switch, stack or UPS details.
- Review active Jobs before starting overlapping work.
- Use on-demand diagnostics or a Fleet Audit when broader evidence is required.
